Dialogs seeks a Jr. Web Developer to assist in the maintenance of existing web/app properties and to configure and customize Dialogs to deliver content feeds for new projects. To give Developers a front-line understanding of end-user issues, Developers are scheduled to manage incoming trouble ticket requests. This is a great opportunity for talented, skilled individuals to gain valuable experience building custom dynamic websites, custom web apps, and back-end systems for iPhone, iPad, and Android apps. Individuals demonstrating exceptional ability will be eligible to advance to senior positions. Dialogs offers significant financial incentives to Developers who demonstrate proficiency and meet project functional and timeline objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of Sr. Developers or the Project Producer to configure and/or customize Dialogs to meet specific project requirements.
- Address incoming support ticket requests providing assistance to users of existing projects.
- Potentially contribute to the ongoing development of Dialogs under the direction of the Lead Dialogs Developer as needed.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with PHP (object oriented, preferred), MySQL (within the context of web development) and JavaScript
- Time management, personal organization, and written/verbal communication skills (English)
- Ability to work on a small team with minimal supervision
Desired Skills:
- Front-end experience: CSS, HTML, XHTML, and XML
- JS/ AJAX experience: custom Web 2.0 work, preferably with jQuery
Required Experience:
- 1-2 years of web development experience (experience while in school is acceptable if applicant can demonstrate proficiency) with custom PHP development and/or experience with Dialogs, Drupal, Joomla!, WordPress, etc.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science or related field

The producer manages the budget and timeline, creates the data architect, and ensures that all client needs are met. The producer must be able to look at a website from the perspective of site visitors and direct the development team to structure site content to maximize the user experience.
Producers must be detail-oriented experts in web capabilities and current best practices. They are also a business consultant. The producer ensures that the site meets the client's business objectives.
