Dialogs is a development framework based on PHP and MySQL. It is designed to streamline the development of interactive websites and backend content systems for mobile apps by providing built-in, configurable components. Dialogs functionality can be extended by customization (PHP programming) of page templates, list templates, page includes, and even modification to core Dialogs classes and functions if desired.

Functionality can also be expanded by adding various plugins. Dialogs developers make use of many of the following popular technologies to provide state-of-the-art website functionality:
